NH HOOKSETT — Hooksett Town Council expands building access for elected officials in 4-2 vote. Councilors Roger Duhaime and David Smith succeeded in reversing a September 2025 policy that limited key-fob access to meeting times, with the council voting 4-2 to grant 24/7 building entry to any councilor requesting it. The council also unanimously approved an increase in the Veterans' Totally and Permanently Disabled Service-Connected Tax Credit from $2,800 to $3,220, affecting 59 veterans at a cost of $2,100 and aligning with recent state law changes.
Department of Public Works reported 23 storm events and $36,711 in overtime overspend as of late February. Town Meeting is set for March 10, 2026.
