Hooksett Town Council adopts Quimby Mountain Stewardship Plan

NH HOOKSETT — Hooksett Town Council unanimously adopted the Quimby Mountain Stewardship Plan, a framework for managing 97.7 acres of conservation land despite nearby property owner Mark Lacasse and neighbor Jesse Tringale raising concerns about trail placement near the summit. The plan, prepared by Moosewood Ecological and held by Bear-Paw Regional Greenways, proposes future guidance for public trails and parking while the Conservation Commission continues detailed planning with community input. The council also voted unanimously to recommend Peter E.
Randall Publisher for a comprehensive town history book and voted 5-1 to grant Marmon Wire and Cable a 25 percent business tax exemption for five years after failing on an initial motion for 30 percent over seven years.
