NH HOOKSETT — Hooksett approves $250,000 police console replacement and $575,022.32 road resurfacing contract. Police Chief Justin Sargent reported the dispatch console damaged by lightning in 2014 has lost manufacturer support and requires replacement to maintain operations. The Town Council voted unanimously on both items, drawing on prior fund balance authorization for the console and current budget appropriations for resurfacing Springer Road, Benton Road, Goffstown Road, Chase Street, Winter Drive, and Andrea Avenue.
Finance Director Christine Tewksbury reported the General Fund is 71 percent spent with revenues collected at 90 percent of budget as of March 31, 2026, with property auction sales boosting interest and penalty income above projections. Property and Liability insurance increases 32 percent for the next fiscal year.
