Town Council approves hazard mitigation grant, bond articles for warrant.

NH HOOKSETT — Hooksett Town Council accepts $13,124.67 hazard mitigation grant for plan update. The Council held public hearings on a $9,540,000 sewer infrastructure bond for the Tax Increment Finance district and a $1,325,840 scale house and retaining wall bond for the transfer facility, voting 4-2 to recommend both to March town meeting. The FY 2026-27 default budget of $24,643,338, a $140,587 increase over the prior year reflecting union contract obligations and debt reduction, moved to the Budget Committee on a 4-2 vote.

All three donations totaling $3,000 from Rice Family Charitable Fund and PROCON LLC were accepted unanimously, and two landscape bonds totaling $146,270 were unanimously released.
